LP® REMODELERS EDGE™ LOYALTY PROGRAM TERMS & CONDITIONS
CANADIAN SMS TERMS AND CONDITIONS ADDENDUM
Last Updated: September 2026
This Canadian SMS Terms and Conditions Addendum (this “Addendum”) supplements and forms part of the LP® Remodelers Edge™ Loyalty Program Terms & Conditions (the “Loyalty Program Terms”). This Addendum governs the text messaging program (the “SMS Program”) operated by Louisiana-Pacific Corporation (“LP,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) in connection with the LP® Remodelers Edge™ program (the “Loyalty Program”).
This Addendum applies to Loyalty Program participants in Canada who enrol in the SMS Program in their business or professional capacity. By enroling in, signing up for, or otherwise agreeing to receive text messages from or on behalf of LP as part of the SMS Program, you accept and agree to be bound by this Addendum. Your participation in the SMS Program and the Loyalty Program is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into this Addendum by reference, and to the Loyalty Program Terms.
If there is any conflict between this Addendum and the Loyalty Program Terms with respect to the SMS Program, this Addendum will control for purposes of the SMS Program. Except as expressly set forth in this Addendum, the Loyalty Program Terms remain unchanged and in full force and effect.
1. Program Description
The SMS Program allows enrolled participants to receive recurring text messages (such as SMS or MMS messages) from or on behalf of LP at the Canadian mobile telephone number enrolled in the SMS Program. SMS Program messages will identify LP or the LP® Remodelers Edge™ program and will be sent from 302027. Messages sent under the SMS Program may include, without limitation: notifications that a homeowner in your area has submitted a request or lead; information about new or existing LP® products and services; promotions and offers; Loyalty Program updates and announcements; and other marketing or informational messages related to the Loyalty Program or LP. Message frequency varies.
2. Consent to Receive Text Messages
By completing an approved SMS enrolment method and voluntarily providing your Canadian mobile telephone number, you expressly consent to receive recurring marketing and informational text messages from or on behalf of LP at that number, including messages sent using an automatic telephone dialing system or other automated technology. You represent and warrant that you are the account holder for the mobile number you provide, or that you have the account holder's permission to enrol that number in the SMS Program. You must be at least eighteen (18) years old or have reached the age of majority in your jurisdiction of residence to participate.
Consent to receive text messages under the SMS Program is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services from LP or participating in the Loyalty Program.
3. How to Opt In
You may enrol in the SMS Program by: (a) completing the SMS opt-in during enrolment in, or through your account for, the Loyalty Program, including via an LP-approved web form; or (b) texting the keyword EDGE to 302027.
After enrolment through a web form, written, verbal, or other off-handset method, LP will send a confirmation text message to your mobile telephone number. You must reply or take the action specified in that message to confirm your enrolment before receiving recurring SMS Program messages. The confirmation message will identify the SMS Program, state the applicable message frequency, and explain how to opt out by texting STOP or ARRET. LP may not be able to deliver messages to all Canadian mobile carriers or devices, and LP is not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
4. How to Opt Out
You may cancel your participation in the SMS Program at any time by texting STOP (English) or ARRET (French) to 302027. LP will also process the following English opt-out keywords: REVOKE, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, QUIT, END, and OPT OUT, and the following French opt-out keywords: ANNULER, QUITTER, and DESABONNER. After you send an opt-out request, you will receive a single message confirming your unsubscription, after which you will no longer receive text messages from the SMS Program unless you re-enrol using an approved opt-in method.
LP may also honour reasonable opt-out requests communicated through other means. If you have opted out and wish to rejoin the SMS Program, you may re-enrol at any time using any of the opt-in methods described in Section 3.
5. Help and Support
For help or more information about the SMS Program, text HELP (English) or AIDE (French) to 302027. LP’s HELP and AIDE responses will identify the LP® Remodelers Edge™ SMS Program, provide support contact information, state the applicable message frequency and program price or rate treatment, and explain how to opt out by texting STOP or ARRET. You may also email us at LPRemodelersEdge@lpcorp.com, call +1-888-820-0325, or contact us as described in Section 13.
6. Message and Data Rates
The SMS Program is free. Message and data rates may apply to each text message sent or received in connection with the SMS Program, as provided under your mobile telephone service rate plan. You are solely responsible for all charges assessed by your wireless carrier in connection with the SMS Program. Please contact your wireless carrier with any questions regarding your text or data plan. Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
7. Eligibility; Supported Carriers
The SMS Program is intended for participants located in Canada and is available on participating Canadian wireless carriers. The SMS Program may not be available on all carriers, and carriers may change their supported services at any time. LP and the wireless carriers reserve the right to modify or discontinue carrier support for the SMS Program without notice to you.
8. Your Obligations
If you change, deactivate, transfer, relinquish, or otherwise cease using the mobile telephone number you enrolled in the SMS Program, you agree to opt out of the SMS Program before doing so and to re-enrol using your new mobile number if you wish to continue receiving messages. You agree that LP will not be liable for messages sent to a mobile number that has been reassigned to another person if you have not notified LP of the change.
You agree to provide accurate and complete information in connection with your enrolment and to use the SMS Program only for lawful purposes. To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to be responsible for claims, costs, and expenses arising from your provision of a mobile telephone number that is not your own or your failure to obtain the necessary authorization from the account holder. This provision does not apply to any wireless carrier or mobile service provider.
9. Privacy
Information collected in connection with the SMS Program, including your mobile telephone number and SMS consent information, is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. LP does not sell mobile opt-in data. Mobile telephone numbers and SMS consent information collected through the SMS Program will not be shared with third parties for those third parties' own marketing purposes. LP may share such information with service providers acting on LP's behalf to operate the SMS Program.
LP and its service providers may process and store SMS Program information outside Canada, including in the United States, in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Nothing in this Addendum limits LP’s ability to collect, use, disclose, or share other information, including lead or program participation information, as described in our Privacy Policy and the applicable Loyalty Program terms.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SMS PROGRAM IS PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, LP DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. LP DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SMS PROGRAM WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT MESSAGES WILL BE DELIVERED WITHOUT DELAY OR AT ALL. DELIVERY OF MESSAGES IS SUBJECT TO EFFECTIVE TRANSMISSION BY YOUR WIRELESS CARRIER AND IS OUTSIDE OF LP'S CONTROL.
11. Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL LP OR ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, OR SERVICE PROVIDERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SMS PROGRAM OR THESE SMS TERMS, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION DAMAGES ARISING FROM DELAYED OR UNDELIVERED MESSAGES, HOWEVER CAUSED AND REGARDLESS OF THE THEORY OF LIABILITY, EVEN IF LP HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF CERTAIN DAMAGES, SO SOME OF THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
12. Changes to the SMS Program and These SMS Terms
LP reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the SMS Program, in whole or in part, at any time and without notice. LP may revise this Addendum from time to time; the most current version will be posted at https://lpcorp.com/sms-terms-ca-en and will be indicated by the “Last Updated” date above. Your continued participation in the SMS Program after any revision constitutes your acceptance of the revised Addendum. If you do not agree to any revision, you must opt out of the SMS Program as described in Section 4.
